Automobile Volkswagen

When I was growing up, my father drove a pale yellow 1967 Volkswagen Beetle. He taught 3 out of my four brothers a way to drive in it--it was named Herbie or "the Bug." My whole family features a lot of fond memories of that automobile, thus when it was unexpectedly stolen out of a native parking ton, we tend to were all devastated.

My fondness for German engineering has continued since then. There could be a shocking variety of brands that come back to us out of the Continent, with some of the foremost famous names in the auto trade specifically being imported to the United States from Germany.

By 1938, the Volkswagen Beetle was born! In German, it is referred to as the Volkswagen Type 1 or the VW Kafer--that is, in fact, the German word for beetle. The major enhancements from Porsche's initial design included higher fuel economy (yes, they were involved concerning it even then), better reliability, and more economical elements and cheaper repairs.

Audi, Bentley Motors, and Lamborghini are all names that are covered by the umbrella company that's the Volkswagen Group, and they're soon to be joined by the Porsche line. This automotive powerhouse is predicated in the city of Wolfsburg within the province of Lower Saxony.

{However despite all of those luxury brands integrated into the Cluster, the Volkswagen whole itself has the best sales by volume. The translation of "Volkswagen," is "individuals's automobile," and their current slogan--"das auto"--merely means "the automotive," in German.

When he ascended to his leadership position in Germany in 1933, he developed a relationship with Ferdinand Porsche in order to create some crucial design changes to Porsche's original 1931 model to create it friendlier to the common man.
I am notably fond of a former catch phrase that browse "Aus Liebe zum Automobil," which suggests that, roughly translated, "For Love of the car," but admittedly, the shorter phrase is the catchier of the two.

Names like Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW (which stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke--yeah, I prefer it shortened, too), Smart, and also the previous-timer Opel all come from Germany, together with Volkswagen Group (which is technically referred to as Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft.

The history of the Volkswagen Cluster may be a particularly attention-grabbing one. The infamous Adolf Hitler had an intense interest in motor vehicles, though he avoided driving himself.

Today, VW offers a wide variety of recent models that boast high fuel economy and potency. The Touareg may be a luxury mid-sized SUV which burns on clean diesel; there are even hybrid models currently. This isn't to mention all of the other fashionable import models produced by the VW group--and it's all for the love of the auto!
